We’ll put our team up against any other sport, at any level, any day of the week!
The Louisville Lightning is the newest professional sports team in Kentucky. The team began competition in the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro) on November 13, 2009. After completing a competitive 16 game season schedule, with 9 home matches at Mockingbird Valley Soccer complex, the team finished their inaugural season with a 12-4 record (14 - 6 overall), finished second in their division, finished second in the 2010 US Open Cup Tournament (and hosted the final), and placed 5 members on the All-League Team, including Coach of the Year, Scott Budnick.
The Lightning expanded their programming during season two and will be searching for qualified individuals to help the organization continue its growth. The positions listed below will provide volunteers with an opportunity to gain hands on experience, learn the elements necessary to create a professional sports franchise from the ground up, and manage its intricate operations.
