Sport has the power to change lives and make a difference in the community. The Louisville Lightning embraces this responsibility and hopes to give back to as many people in the region as possible.
During the 2011-2012 season, the Louisville Lightning will initiate a new program to "Strike the City" with a passion unlike any seen in professional sport before in Louisville. "Strike the City" is the name of the new philanthropic initiatives promoted by the Lightning. Throughtout the season, players, administrators, and staff will work hard to improve and give back to some of the many community organizations helping to make Louisville an incredible place to live.
Lightning players will work with corporate partners, charitable groups, and local soccer clubs to "Strike the City" with hope and inspiration. Click the links below to learn about some of the many activities the Lightning are developing.
